Fulfillment of a different kind

I started working on this website, at least I made the neocities account. I was playing around with different pre-made templates for a while, unsure of what I really wanted to do or how I would lay it out.

I've been ill with some flu thing for the last week or so, and today I finally dug my heels in and hit flow-state with html.

I've never done any type of coding before (in a way that I've meaningfully understood), and this has felt like nothing else before. I actually understand how people stay locked in place, chasing fix after fix in the code, tweaking things little by little to push it closer towards the result you're looking for.

It is invigorating.

I am deeply proud of this website, despite how basic it is, because it's what I wanted it to be. It's the aim that I scraped my way to.

And it's not even finished yet!

So on that note, I'm going to move on with finishing the rest of the pages (it's really only the landing page that I've finished).
